Gameplay: 5 out of 10
Hardness factor: 6 out of 10
Overall: 5 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics aren't anything great. There's a nice amount of
detail in Bomberman and Wario, though the enemies and especially the
playing field are just vacant of detail. The grayish color scheme was
also simple.
Sound: The songs and the sound effects got boring too quickly and you
have to put up with them for the rest of the game. They should have
added a few more songs at the very least.
Gameplay: This game plays a lot like the first Bomberman for the NES.
You play as Wario or Bomberman and have to kill all the enemies on the
playing field. Bombs usually take a long time to explode and you move
very slowly in the beginning. Luckily, to combat these problems, they
made it so your character can get special moves, like running and stunning
enemies, though they come a little late. It isn't fun at first, but the later
levels are pretty good.
Hardness factor: The game doesn't get too harder. There isn't a lot of
variance on exploding enemies.
Overall: 5 out of 10. This is an okay game and pretty average in the fun
factor as other games for the Gameboy. I'd recommend the other
Bomberman games for the other systems before this one, but if you're
a big fan of Wario, you may want to check this out anyway.
