Graphics 8 out of 10

Graphics are quite good for the Game Boy Color. At some points, there are 1st-person view modes, but most of the time it's an overhead view. Also, night vision is fairly hard to see, and it's terribly hard to finish the second level without it. However, the pictures are all here from the Nintendo 64 version, as in character profile pictures. In the uniforms case, they all look the same to me, but the "setup mission screen" is quite nice as far as graphics go.

Music and Sound 7 out of 10

The music got a little annoying after a while, especially because it's constantly the same for the level (which takes approximately 5-10 minutes to complete each). The title screen music could use some work as well, but the gunfire sounds alright. There's really no change in anything here, though.

Game Challenge 10 out of 10

It'll probably take you quite awhile to finish the game, unless you want a team full of reserves. If a character gets killed during a mission, they turn into ashes or something, and you, the player, get extremely mad because you were just about to finish the mission flawlessly, but suddenly a terrorist who's stuck in a paradox by a table is firing at you every five seconds. The 16 missions don't help you, either.

Game Play-Fun 5 out of 10

It gets tense if you're into Game Boy espionage, like Metal Gear Solid (which I really should have gotten instead of this), but the Nintendo 64 version is much, much better. Also, if your computer can run it, try Rogue Spear.

Replayability 3 out of 10

Once you beat the game, you'll probably find yourself not wanting to beat it again. It's like those doll commercials where the little pigtailed girls always say "Let's do it again!" What are you going to do after you do it again? Do it again? Yeah, okay, whatever.

Game Value 6 out of 10

It's an okay game if you don't have a Nintendo 64 or your computer can't run the PC version, but I don't think it's worth the $30 I paid for, more like $19.99. After all, there are 3 or 4 other versions for other systems...

Overall 6 out of 10

Rainbow Six is an okay alternate to the other game versions, if you don't have the systems, but if you do, Rainbow Six becomes more of a chore than a fun game. If you want a good espionage game for Game Boy, try Metal Gear Solid!
