Mickey's Chase

Gameplay: 4.5 out of 10
Hardness factor: 3 out of 10
Overall: 4 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics are very poor, leaving me to believe this game
was made very early in the Gameboy's career. It's kind of funny how
Mickey and Minnie look because it kind of reminds me of the early
cartoons. Anyway, the details (except in the cutscenes) are pretty poor,
but you'll know what everything is.
Sound: The sound is pretty bad. The music is very generic and way too
cartoony (too bright even for a game based after a cartoon). Sound effects
are also pretty vacant.
Gameplay: A very, very basic sidescroller. You play as Mickey or Minnie
(The Mickey Sprite with a dress and Bow). The only things you can do in
this game are walk, grab and throw boxes, and jump. The only way you
can harm enemies is to grab a box and throw it at an enemy; you can't
even jump on them. You can also collect stars (100 for an extra guy) and
orbs (I couldn't figure out what they did) which are spread throughout the level.
Hardness factor: This game was pretty easy and I had no problems at
all playing through the first few levels. This game was definitely made
for younger characters. The controls are good, which is nice for the young
people who would play this game.
Overall: 4 out of 10. This game was okay, but it didn't have a lot of depth
to it. The only thing you do is travel across a level (sometimes by different
means of transportation) until you get to the person you must fight. It gets
boring, unless you like simple games.
