Mega Man V
Reviewed by M.C.K
Remember Mega Man: Dr. Wily's Revenge for Game Boy? If you
liked that game you'll love this one, it's probably five times better!
It has more special weapons, and tons of items like Energy Tanks
and Weapons Tanks. You can also get upgrades that improve your
gun or make weapons use less of their energy. This has some cool
plot twists too. If you like Mega Man games buy this one, you won't
be sorry.
Graphics 5 out of 5
They aren't as good as a DKL game but the graphics in Mega Man V
are awesome, this game has good backgrounds and the games enemies
look really cool. There are no bad graphics in this game, that is all
there is to say about this games graphics.
Music and Sound 4 out of 5
The music in Mega Man V gets repetitive but you probably won't care
since you will be dodging tons of enemy attacks and obstacles like
spikes and bottomless pits, I wouldn't mind if this game had no music
at all! The sound effects are good too, you'll hear a splash when you
jump out of the water, a chime when you start a level, and a whoosh
when you unleash a fully-charged Mega Arm shot on an enemy.
Game Challenge 4 out of 5
Mega Man V is a challenging game most of the time, though some
levels like Mercury and Neptune are to easy. I beat this game in a
few weeks, but some may find this game hard.
Game Play-Fun 5 out of 5
Mega Man V is a very fun game, I know very few people who don't
enjoy jumping over bottomless pits and blasting enemies every
second. You'll get to fly Rush, your dog through space and battle a
Death Star-like space station in one of the later levels which adds
to the games fun.
Frustration
Some levels, like Venus are very hard and may take awhile to beat,
the lack of a password for the space station is a pain too, but most
of this game is extremely fun.
Replayability 2 out of 5
Mega Man V has little replay value, because the only things you may
have missed are the gems in the later levels, however you must know
how to use special powers to get some of these gems. Overall, I'm sorry
to say Mega Man V, has a replay value rating of 2 out of 5.
Game Value 5 out of 5
This game is worth the $35.00 bucks it cost at Funcoland, I love this
game and you, probably will love it too.
Price 2 out of 5
Mega Man V costs $35.00 bucks at Funcoland so I give price a 2 out of 5.
Overall 5 out of 5
If you like the Mega Man series, buy this game you'll be very glad you did.
