Donkey Kong Land 3
Reviewed by J.P.
Donkey Kong Land 3 is made by Rare and It is about Dixie and Kiddy Kong
searching for the lost world. They must beat K. Rool and have all the DK
coins with bonus coins (there are two in each level) to enter the lost
world. This game is made to be able to play on Game boy or on Super Game
Boy. This game holds three saved slots. There are thirty six levels filled
with Kremling and Baddies (the enemies).
Graphics 8 out of 10
The graphics on Donkey Kong Land 3 are much better than the other games.
Dixie, Kiddie, and the baddies are 3D looking. You are able to move left or
right. If you plug it into the Super Game Boy, it has a little bit of color.
Music and Sound 17 out of 20
I think the music on stilt is the best you will find on the game. Towards
the end it will have new levels and those are not as good as the beginning.
My opinion is that the music will want you to play more.
Game Challenge 2 out of 3
It is not impossible but it is a lot more challenging than mario land.
The thing that makes it so hard is finding the bonus barrels in every
level. But if you know where those are it is easy trying to beat it again.
Game Play-Fun 9 out of 10
It is the most fun game I have ever played for Game Boy other than Tetris.
It is challenging and the most best part about it is that it will never
get boring (except if you don't think you can beat something.)
All I have to say on frustration is you do not want to give up later on the
game or else someone will never finish it within a while and what ever
you do, DO NOT LET YOURSELF GET MAD JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT DO SOMETHING.
Replayability 5 out of 7
It is fun to replay it a few times but to me if it is the only game I can play,
5 times is enough for a while.
Game Value 9 out of 11
It is worth the price for the game (about $30.00 on the Internet). But I
would expect it to be about $25.00.
Overall 9 out of 10
Donkey Kong Land 3 is tremendously fun for all ages over 5 years old.
And as Wrinkly would say, "Watch out for those kremlings!"
