Gameplay: 3 out of 10
Hardness factor: 7 out of 10
Overall: 3 out of 10
Graphics: The graphics are pretty poor, especially Spider-Man's. He
looks like a detailed blob, basically. Anyway, backgrounds are simple
and the enemies look about as generic as they can.
Sound: The music in this game was okay. It did get boring after a little
bit, but you really shouldn't expect much from Gameboy music. There also
needed to be more sound effects (which were also generic).
Gameplay: This game is just a boring sidescroller with an equally boring
storyline. You play as Spider-Man (as if you didn't know that already) and
beat up enemies and jump over objects to get to the end of a level. The
controls and how your character reacts are pretty bad, like it takes you
maybe a second or two (which is a lot) from the time you press a button
to the time he is done executing it.
Hardness factor: The game shouldn't be hard, but it is because of the
horrible controls. Enemies will usually get to you before you get to them.
Overall: 3 out of 10. This game has bad graphics and gameplay, so I
wouldn't recommend it. Luckily, there are plenty of good Spider-Man
games for the GBC and GBA.
