Meteor Crater trick
Sent in by CyberSlug
In Meteor Crater, Arizona, destroy the Meteor Observatory Lodge and
you should here a big BOOM! Go to the big crater and there should now
be a big meteor there. Now, circle around it until some one comes
he/she will miss (just trust me). They'll hit the meteor and out will
come a giant evil man eating space zapping mutant freakish cyber
ill tempered ant. Now once you here the ant, drive...drive far away.
You can watch the health meter of the other car go down, down, down.
It's such a guilty pleasure.
Level Hazards
Sent in by Code Hunter
Most levels have hazards. Here is a list of the hazards.
Alaska
Icebergs: These are the least dangerous hazard because they will
only do damage if you bump into it. Easy to evade.
Water: No matter what, if you fall into water you will take damage.
Whale: If you bump into the whale or vice-versa you will take damage.
It is easy to evade.
Oil: The oil will slow you down. Do not use rockets, missiles, flame-throwers,
cannons, or any other type of weapon that will cause a fire, while you
are in the oil. It will cause a small explosion and will catch you on fire.
If your enemy is in the oil and you are not, shoot a missile at them.
Arizona
Meteors: These are probably the least dangerous hazard in this
level. They have to hit you dead on to do damage. These are easy
to evade.
The Big Ant: This guy is the most dangerous hazard in the level.
You can find him by blowing up the observatory and then blowing
up the huge meteor in the crater. He will hit you several times
shooting you up in the air.
Doughnuts: If you blow up the donut shop and you didn't shoot at
the giant doughnut on top of the shop, the doughnut will roll around
the whole level. They are easy to evade.
California - The only hazard here is the water.
Florida
Sharks: They do some minor damage but they come back for more.
They dunk you under water. If you receive a lot of damage they will
knock off your propulsion mechanism.
Electric Fences: These do some damage and launch you into the air.
Most of the time you will land on an other electric fence.
Guard Towers: They shoot a machine gun at you that does minor
damage. Easy to evade.
Apollo Rockets: If you are under the launch tower and the Apollo
rocket is on the launch tower, it will once in a while shoot a flame
out that will burn you.
Gemini Rockets: These things will burn you if you go behind them.
If you shoot the thing that is holding it up and they will fly around
in a circle, burning anyone in their way.
Wind Tunnels: They do no damage themselves, but they will throw
you in the water.
Water: Like I said, they do damage no matter what.
Louisiana
Ghosts: If you destroy a tombstone a ghost will come out,
scream, and attack you.
Alligator: They are just like the sharks except it will not dunk
you under water.
Water: It does damage no matter what.
Flood Gates: If you shoot at the crank on the beam it will open
the flood gate. If you open both flood gates, you will raise the water level.
Traps: If you touch the swirling thing in the water, you will be
caught in a trap.
Minnesota
Forklifts: They ram you and cause considerable damage. Watch out
for the barrels. They drop when you shoot at the forklift. It will make
you radioactive. Try shooting a the barrels it drops, now that is a loud explosion.
Water: Duh
Nuclear Waste: Any thing that has a nuclear sign and any thing that
looks like a storage place. Blow up things sparingly. Lots of things
have nuclear waste.
Turbines: These are found in the main plant. If the lights are red on
the turbines, do not go through it.
Reactors: If you want to blow up a reactor, use a long distance weapon
like a bull's eye rocket. If you are too close to the reactor when it
blows up, the explosion will hurt your car, make you radioactive, and
no matter how far you are, your car will stall.
Pennsylvania
Hot Steel: It's orange and it will set your car on fire.
Indoor Furnaces: If you bump into them, they will shoot out flames.
Mold Pourer: In the same room as the furnaces. It pours molten metal on you.
Water: Avoid
Train: If it hits you it will do considerable damage.
Utah - No hazards here.
Places where you can get healed without a wrench
Sent in by Code Hunter
Here is a list of places where you can get healed without a wrench:
Arizona: Drive into any of the two gas stations in the Arizona level, and
put yourself into the position as if you were to fill up with gas. You will
soon hear the sound as if you used a wrench. Some of your health will
be restored. And yes, you can do it over and over.
California: Go to the weight scale when the lights are green. The weight
scale is that thing that bump with an arch over it in front of the building
that has all the doors that you go through. Just go into it and you will
be able to be healed as much as a wrench.
Minnesota: Go to the main plant (the room with the turbines in it).
Go up the platform and bump into the computer with a green light
over it. Now drive between the turbines and you will be healed. The
good thing about this one is that you can keep on going through while
the green lights are on. Another good thing about this one is that each
time you drive through, you get healed about three times when you
drive through it.
Catch the Alligator
Sent in by Code Hunter
Go in front of a trap. Wait for the alligator to attack. Now do your best
Steve Irwin impression, and go though the swirling thing. If you timed it
right you will trap the alligator. If you timed it right and did it wrong, you
will be in the trap with the alligator.
Easy damage to your opponent
Sent in by Code Hunter
In the Alaska stage head to the pool of oil. If you grab the skis and treads
to add to your vehicle this makes it easier to get in and out but if you don't
that's all right. Try to position yourself in the middle but make sure you have
the weapons that you want to use (I recommend the Bullseye Rockets, Bruiser
Cannon, and the Flamethrower.) When your opponent ventures in to attack
you let loose with your arsenal. Not only will the normal damage of that
weapon affect him/her but also the oil will ignite and have a little mini
explosion. This works great for while he/she is on fire it keeps draining
their health meter.
