Protect Magnus and Base
Sent in by Danielle L.
Usually, you lose the mission if the enemy takes over headquarters or
if Magnus dies. Here's a way to keep wither one from happening. Once
you're to a point where you have many units, keep Magnus at the base.
This way, he won't fight enough to die, if he gets hurt he'll heal by
standing at the base, and you have your strongest warrior at the base
to keep it from being taken over.
99 items
Sent in by Dan
This is actually a game bug, but its a very valuable one. First, go into the
organize screen and then have the unit carry along any item you want, as
long as you make it the last item on the list with none directly in front of
it. Then, while staying in the organize menu, go to add character and select
the unit you want to do this too and keep doing it over and over again (you
don't have to change characters or anything, just select them) until they
fill up all the items in their entire item list. Now all the items on there
are given to you in fractions. So for the final step you get out of add
remove characters and go to the regular item command and look at the
fraction for the item you replicated, then you sell 1 more of the item
than the lower number (the number on the right) than what is there and
you'll have 99 of the item.
You can use this cheat on any expendable item in the game, and if you
really want to, use it to make a lot of money early on.
But be careful of how you use this, if you use it to raise the levels of
all your units to ridiculously high levels, then your going to get the
worst ending of the game.
Win battles easier

To win battles easier, take care of the leader first. The enemy will
run away while you rejuvenate. You should take care of all enemies
for experience and items to help you.
Battle tips
Sent in by Steve Kinney II
All of your units should have their Battle Strategy set to "Attack Leader."
Once an enemy unit's leader is defeated that unit will no longer pursue
your units. Also, when fighting a boss unit you only need to defeat the
leader to complete the scene.
Don't use your Elem Pedra unless it's absolutely necessary. Since the
Elem Pedra has to recharge after it has been used, you will only get
about one chance to use an Elem Pedra per Scene.
If you are having troubles defeating an enemy unit, try attacking it
from the side or from behind. Doing this will alter the formation of
the enemy unit and make it less effective against your unit.
Field-Moving tips
Sent in by Steve Kinney II
When moving on the Field Map, it is best send multiple units to the
same location at the same time. Your units will be much more effective
when moving in a group than by themselves.
Once you've defeated all or most of the enemies on the map, scatter your
units all over the map to try to find hidden items.
Always leave at least one unit at your headquarters. The moment an enemy
touches your headquarters the game is over.
Once you've made it to a Stronghold, stay there until your unit's hit points
have been refilled.
Check your Stamina Flag frequently. If your flag turns completely red,
your unit will automatically camp and will be extremely vulnerable
to enemy attacks.
Unit Formation tips
Sent in by Steve Kinney II
When forming units, try to add characters that are of the same type.
When all of the characters are the same type they will have special
advantages when battling on certain types of terrain.
Try putting a character in every possible location within a unit to see
if it can attack more times if put in a different spot. The more attacks
your unit has as a whole, the better chance you have of winning battles.
Once the Cleric class is available, try to put at least one in every unit.
Clerics are the first class that can heal and will help you greatly even
though they don't attack.
Make sure you create units with equal strength. You will not get very far
with one extremely strong unit.
Alignment and Reputation tips
Sent in by Steve Kinney II
Lawful Alignment and Reputation:
Defeating enemies with a low alignment is the easiest way to raise
your alignment.
Make sure you liberate Strongholds with units that have an alignment
higher than the morale of the Stronghold.
Retreat from battles that you know you will not win.
Putting a chaotic character in a unit full of lawful characters will
raise the alignment of the chaotic character.
Chaotic Alignment and Reputation:
Attack enemy units that are camping to lower your reputation.
Attack weak enemy units with your most powerful units.
Use the Urn of Chaos item to lower your alignment.
Allow Strongholds that you've already liberated to be captured
by your enemies.

55 of any Usable Item
Sent in by Code Hunter
Create a group with one character only able to hold one item. Fill-up all
the inventory spots except the last two. Place the item you want 55 of
in the last spot leaving the second to last space blank. Remove the character
that can only hold one item from that group. This will give you 55 of that
item equipped but only the number you started with in your inventory. Go
and sell one more of the item that you started with (start with one, sell
two, etc.) This will give you 55 equipped and 55 in your inventory. Go back
to the screen between scenes. Go back and check your inventory and you
should have 55 in your inventory and none equipped. This works best
with champion statuettes.

Undead warriors tip
Sent in by Bugar
Got to many undead warriors? A good strategy for using them is all
in one group, that way you don't need to do any heeling with Items
except for your leader. The reason for that is that after an undead
warrior passes away he will be fully regenerated in the next battle.
Tip on higher campaigns
Sent in by Bugar
When you get into the higher campaigns, make sure to keep your
base well protected, a good way to do this is to have quit gates
for all your groups that way when an enemy get's close you can
use your quit gate to go back to your home base. Even though you
can do this make sure to keep at least one group back at base in
case of a Surprise attack.
