Using Bombs You Don't Have
Sent in by Code Hunter
In order to pull this trick off, you need to have at least one file that has
at least two different bombs. First, go to the file with at least two bombs.
Choose a bomb type besides the fire type. Next, quit the game (don't turn the
N64
off or it won't work). Choose a file with at least one bomb type. Start
a world. When you put down a bomb, it will be the type you chose. If you
want to get rid of the bomb you chose, you will have to get another type
(unless you have more than one, then you just press any of the c-buttons).

Guardian Boots
Sent in by Code Hunter
In Starlight, after you get the lightning bombs, return to the start.
Enter the next area. Push on the middle left, where a golden statue
used to be. You should enter a room. Lightning bomb the platform to get
the Guardian Boots. You can now permanently kick bombs.
Guardian Gloves
Sent in by Code Hunter
In Planet Horizon, after the area where you defeat Ashtarth, go down
the stairs. Get the bomb throw, and go to the door in the "Up" area
(not the one you came from). Get the Remote Control (bomb the statue
and collect it) and step on the two buttons. Go back. Enter the door on
the right. Move right, then put the statues on the buttons as was done
during the first time in Planet Horizon. Wind bomb to the elevator
platform. Throw a bomb downwards and press Z at the top of its arc. It
should take away a small pillar object. Return to the beginning of the
room. Go up the stairs. Wind bomb yourself across. In the next room,
lightning bomb the platform and grab the part to get the Guardian
Gloves.
Guardian Vest
Sent in by Code Hunter
In Aquanet, just at the beginning on your right are three pillars. Use
an earth bomb here. Enter the hidden doorway on the left. Lightning
bomb the platform to get the Guardian Vest.
Guardian Helmet
Sent in by Code Hunter
In Neverland, go to the point with the lava strip in the middle and two
knights on the sides. Use a dark bomb at the end of the strip, which
resembles a small door, and it will open. Use an ice bomb to freeze the
lava in front of it, then walk through. Lightning bomb the platform to
get the Guardian Helmet.

Guardian Armor
Sent in by Code Hunter
To get all the Guardian Armor you need the Navarm Bomb, Gravity Bomb
(the instant kill bomb from Thantos), Ice Bomb, and Lightning Bomb.
Legs: level 4, Starlight - In the second room destroy everything including
the statue. Once it's gone, you can go though the now revealed door and
find the armor. It gives you the everlasting power to kick bombs.
Arms: Level 2, Auqanet - Once you have the Navarm Bomb head to the
area where the moat was. Navarm-bomb the clock to destroy it. Behind
it you will find a room with the armor.
Body: Level 3, Horizon - When you have the Wind bomb and lightning
bomb go to the room where you had to move the statues to get the
green jewel. Head up the stair case and pick up (B) a lightning bomb and
detonate it (Z/L) in midair so the zap hits the pillar. Then hurricane
bomb your way into the door.
Head: Level 5, Neverland - Once you have the gravity bomb head to
the 3rd room and gravity bomb the metal with a black hole on it. Then
ice bomb the lava and walk into the door to find the armor.
