Don't ever try to dissasemble it. * Don't ever touch the contact-surfaces and don't let them get wet or dirty. * Never clean with gasoline, alcohol or other strong liquids. Page: 4 -------------------------------------------------------------------- STARTING THE GAME ----------------- 1. Insert the game cartridge into the Main unit and turn ON the power switch. 2. Press START when the title screen appears. 3. On the next screen you have the following options: 1P GAME, 2P GAME and OPTIONS. When 2 Player option is selected, you switch playing Mickey. Press Up/Down on D-Pad to mark wanted option and press START. 4. Read the introduction and you will know what happens to Pluto, or press D-Pad to mark your selection and press START. 5. To stop playing, turn the switch to OFF on your Main unit. Page: 5 -------------------------------------------------------------------- THE CONTROL PAD --------------- Move Mickey Left/Right Press Left/Right on D-Pad. Jump Press B-Button. Duck Press Down on D-Pad. Spin Hold the object and press Y-Button. Select Costume Box Press R- or L-Button. Change Costume Press A-Button. Pause Press START. Page: 6 -------------------------------------------------------------------- A LAND OF MYSTERY AND MAGIC --------------------------- Pluto has disappeared but his friend Mickey is looking for him. Mickey follows Plutos tracks and comes to a magic world filled with climbing plants and strange creatures. But a mysterious, dark shadow watches over the land that isn't as peaceful as it seems like. On his way through the land Mickey meets a nice, wise old wizard that tells Mickey that the evil emperor Peter has kidnapped poor Pluto. Mickey takes fresh courage and swear to rescue his dogfriend and starts walking towards Peters castle. It won't be an easy task for young Mickey. Emperor Peter have casted a ring of dark magic over the land and everybody knows that he is looking for Mickey! Mickey have to overcome buzzing bees when he runs and jumps through the mysterious land. When he jumps on their heads they get dizzy. Then Mickey can pick the bees up and throw them away. Look for hearts that keep Mickeys strenghts on top, because when Mickey looses all his hearts, he has no strength left. Look out for emperor Peters special guards. Use magic or whatever to defeat them and save the land. Page: 7 -------------------------------------------------------------------- COSTUME CHANGES --------------- Mickey finds three special costumes that will be of great help during the mission. When Mickey finds or gets a costume, it will be shown in one of his costume boxes. Press L- or R-Button when you want Mickey to change costume. Press A-Button when you have marked the appropriate costume. Wizard Costume -------------- When Mickey changes to the wizards costume he can use magic. Hold down Y-Button to charge Mickeys magic power. The longer you hold down the button, the more powerful magic. Release the button and Mickey will fire a paralysing lightning of magic power. Fireman Costume --------------- When Mickey puts on the red helmet and the boots he is transformed to a brave fireman. Press Y-Button and Mickey will use his fire-hose. The water preassure is so powerful that even some stoneblocks will move. Page: 8 -------------------------------------------------------------------- COSTUME CHANGES --------------- Fireman Costume (Cont.) The water level is reduced in the rythm that Mickey is putting out fires. Mickey is soon out of water if he can't find new water posts. Climber Costume --------------- When Mickey has put on his climber equipment, he becomes the bravest climber of them all. With rope and hook, he climbs better in the mountains than the best mountain goat. Throw rope straight upwards Press D-Pad Up & Y-Button. Throw rope Left/Right Press D-Pad Left/Right & Y-Button. Throw rope diagonal Press Y-Button. As soon as Mickey has hooked the rope on a block or wall he can use it to: Climb up the rope Press D-Pad Up. Swing Press D-Pad in the direction you are facing (Left/Right). Drop the rope D-Pad Down or B-Button. Page: 9 -------------------------------------------------------------------- MAGIC BLOCKS & TREASURE CHESTS ------------------------------ The nice old wizard have used his magic to spread blocks and treasure chests in emperor Peters kingdom. If Mickey is smart enough and brave he can use the blocks to complete some difficult tasks and enemies. Grey Blocks Can only be climbed on. Golden Blocks Can be climbed on or be picked up and spinned. Red Blocks Can be climbed on or be picked up and spinned. They return when Mickey picks them up. Up Block Goes straight up when you pick them up and spin them. Treasure Chests In the chests are all kinds of treasures. Page: 10 ------------------------------------------------------------------- SPECIAL OBJECTS --------------- Magic Lamp Partly restores the wizards magic level. Fire Post Partly restores the firemans water level. Coin Use coins to shop in stores that are hidden all over in Peters kingdom. Magic Turban Uses half the magic compared to a usual turban. Fireman Costum Only uses half the water amount compared to a usual fireman costume. Apple 500 points. Page: 11 ------------------------------------------------------------------- SPECIAL OBJECTS --------------- Blueberry 2000 points. Small Heart Restores a heart on Mickeys health meter. Big Heart Gives Mickey an extra heart on his health meter. Mickey Doll Gives Mickey an extra life. Page: 12 ------------------------------------------------------------------- HINTS ----- 1. You can ride on huge cherries if you spinn on them and then grab them. 2. There are shops hidden throughout the land. Find them and use your coins to buy things. 3. Mickey can jump longer if you run before jumping. 4. The Fire-hose can be used to move certain blocks. 5. Use your special knowledge to defeat eperor Peters guards. Keep on hitting them in their heads until they are defeated. 6. Use your special strength to open the treasure chests that haven't got handles. Page: 12 ------------------------------------------------------------------- OPTION SCREEN ------------- When the option screen appears you press Up/Down on your D-Pad to move the cursor to OPTIONS and press START. When the next screen appears, you press Up/Down to mark the option you want to change. Difficulty ---------- Changes the difficulty on your computer opponents. Press Left/Right on D-Pad to change. EASY - Mickey starts out with 5 hearts. On NORMAL and HARD Mickey has to deal with harder enemies and less hearts. 1 Player/2 Player ----------------- Here you can change buttons for HOLD/SHOOT, JUMP or CHANGE. Mark the desired choice and press on the button you want to change. Sound ----- You can select either stereo or mono sound. Press Left/Right to mark desired choice. EXIT ---- Mark this option and press START if you want to leave the Option Screen with the changes made. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- CONSUMER INFORMATION AND PRECAUTIONS BOOKLET -------------------------------------------- - Projection television warning WARNING DO NOT USE WITH FRONT OR REAR PROJECTION TV Do not use a front or rear projection television with your Nintendo Entertainment System ("NES"), your Super Nintendo Entertainment System ("Super NES"), or any NES or Super NES games. Your projection television screen may be permanently damaged if video games with stationary scenes or patterns are played on your projection television. Similiar damage may occur if you place a video game on hold or pause. If you use your projection television with NES or Super NES games, neither Nintendo nor any of Nintendo's licensees will be liable for any damage. This situation is not caused by a defect in the NES, Super NES, NES games or Super NES games; other fixed or repetitive images may cause similiar damage to a projection television. Please contact your TV manufacturer for further information. - Epilepsy Warning WARNING READ BEFORE USING YOUR NES OR SUPER NES A very small portion of the population may experience epileptic seizures when viewing certain kinds of flashing lights or patterns that are commonly present in our daily environment. Do not use any power plug other than the AC adapter provided with your Super NES. The AC adapter may become warm during use; this is normal and is no cause for concern. 2. Do not use any RF switch other than the one included with your Super NES. 3. Do not disassemble or try to repair the Super NES components. Doing so voids your warranty. 4. Always turn the power switch of the Control Deck off before loading or removing a Game Pak. Insert the Game Pak completely without forcing either the Game Pak or the Control Deck. Load ONLY PAL VERSION Super NES Game Paks into the PAL VERSION Super NES Control Deck. To remove a Game Pak, push the eject button and carefully remove the game. A Game Pak cannot be removed if the power switch is in the on position. 5. After you have finished playing, be sure to remove the Game Pak from the Control Deck. 6. Do not store the Control Deck in a humid place, on the floor or in any location where it may collect dirt, dust, lint etc. 7. Do not drop, hit or otherwise abuse the Super NES components. 8. Do not leave the Control Deck turned on for extended periods when not in use. 9. When disconnecting any plugs from the Control Deck first turn the Control Deck off, then carefully pull by the plug itself rather than by the cord. Do not step on, sharply pull or bend any wires or cables. 10.Do not expose the Control Deck, Game Paks or any other of the Super NES components to extreme heat or cold. 11.Do not spill liquids on the Control Deck, Game Paks or any other of the Super NES components. To clean, use a soft slightly damp cloth. Allow the component to dry completely before using again. (Use water only). 12.Do not rapidly turn the power switch on and off, as this may cause battery backed-up Game Paks to lose your stored game information. - Game Pak Precautions/Maintenance 1. If you are playing for a long time, take a 10 to 15 minute break every hour. 2. The Game Pak is high precision piece of electronics. Do not store it in places that are very hot or cold. Do not hit, drop or otherwise abuse it. Do not take it apart. 3. Avoid touching the connectors with your fingers. Do not blow on them or allow them to get wet or dirty. Doing so may damage the Game Pak and/or the Control Deck. 4. Do not clean with benzene, paint thinner, alcohol or any other solvent. 5. Always store Game Pak in its protective cover when not in use. 6. Always check the Game Pak edge connector for foreign material before inserting the Game Pak in the Control Deck. To prevent the edge connectors from becoming dirty, we recommend that you regularly use the the Super NES Cleaning Kit only.
