Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
Sent in by Jared D. Solovay
After defeating Mortianna, Robin confronts the Sheriff of Nottingham
to save Maid Marian. They have the following dialogue: "Sheriff: Do you
mind, Locksley? We have just been married! Robin: Well, I have come
to deliver your divorce! Sheriff: Being stupid seems to run in your
family, Locksley. Robin: And being dead will soon run in your family...
Sheriff: Touche..." Robin and the Sheriff duel. After you win, the Sheriff
says these dying words: "Gasp... Curse you, Locksley..." Robin then says:
"My vow is fulfilled, father. Now you may rest." Marian says: "A long
nightmare has ended. And a new life is before us." The scene shifts to
a wedding. Robin and Marian flank a priest. When the priest asks, "If
there is any man who has reason why these two should not be joined,"
someone exclaims: "Hold! I speak." Robin asks: "Who interrupts my
wedding?" Regal music plays, a picture of King Richard appears, and
he answers: "Your King. I cannot allow this wedding to go forward...without
giving away the bride." The couple says they're "deeply honored," the
marriage concludes, and you see a close-up of Robin kissing Marian.
"And they lived happily ever after. The End." The wedding scene then
repeats over and over.
