Final Fantasy

After going back in time 2000 years, you find Garland (the
guy you defeated way at the start of the game). After beating
his "Chaos", you fade out, then see a beautiful land. You are
told that the time loop has been broken, you have returned
from the past. You are pretty much told that because you beat
the evil in the past, it never happened in the present, so you
get no credit, other than the fact a legend was created 2000
years ago about you, after your great victory.
