Always win Ronald

Sent in by Rafael When you get the second master medal, immediately save your game and when you get out of the master room you'll fight him. If you lose the game, no problem. Just turn of the game, then turn it on and continue from the diary. Then you will fight him again until you win he. Then save the game again after you get the fifth master medal.

Make tail come up more

Same as above but press "B" lots of times while in the air. It will make it come up more but not every time. Click here

60 free energy cards

Sent in by Andy Suman Walk up to the technician by the entrance to the deck builder room in the Professors lab with all energy card in a deck(s) and he will give you 60 free energy cards.

Challenge Hall tip

Sent in by Ronald The Challenge Hall will always open every five battles. You can easily go through these five battles by beating the grand masters, then eventually finding Imakuni? and beating him. Then the Challenge hall will open.

Good Cards fast

Sent in by Tim Sullivan First go to any club and dule the master then go to another club and defeat the club master again and eventually in one club you will find the guy that gives you four booster packs if you beat him.

Challenge matching

Sent in by Mew Dan Duensing To get a challenge matching, you need to beat the game and as soon the music stops push start and you'll be back at the lab and there it will be.

Alway win Tournaments

Sent in by Richard Lambert When you are going to a tournament, save before you start it and after every win so that if you lose a match, just turn it off and you will start off where you saved. Doing this can give you unlimited tries.

2 Phantom cards

Sent in by Landon There are 2 "Phantom" cards that Ishihara talks about in one of his books in the game. These 2 cards can only be obtained through Card Pop. These cards are Venusaur and Mew. Venusaur has 100 HP and a Pokemon power that can be used once every turn that removes status effects from both the active and defending Pokemon. It also has an attack called Mega Drain which does 40 damage for 4 grass energies and you can remove a number of damage counters from Venusaur equal to half the damage done to the defending Pokemon. The other Phantom card is Mew. It has 50 HP and a zero retreat cost! It has an awesome attack called mystery attack which does a random amount of damage (0-120) and may cause a random status effect (sleep, confusion, paralysis, poison)! Once you beat the game five times, you cannot get anymore legendary cards from the machine. However, you can still use the deck machine!

Booster packs

Sent in by Landon As you might already know, one of the best ways to get booster packs and a lot of good cards is by dueling Imakuni?. A good way to find him is by going to every club and looking in the room to the left. You can usually tell if he's there or not by the weird music. Once you find him, duel him, and win the booster packs from him, he'll go away. If you check all the clubs again, he won't be at any of them. A remedy for this problem is to save, reset the game (A, B, Select, Start), then resume your game and look around the clubs again. Eventually, you'll find him again and then you can duel him to win even more booster packs!

Promonitial Cards

Sent in by Landon Do you need a lot of Promonitial Cards?? This trick lets you get into the Challenge Cup without having to wait forever for it to start. First, save at the entrance of Dr. Mason's Laboratory, then go to the Challenge Cup. The Challenge Cup probably won't be starting, but that's okay. Just press all the buttons (A, B, Select, and Start) at once. From the menu screen, choose Continue from Diary and, from the entrance of Dr. Mason's Lab, go to the challenge cup. Keep doing the reset trick until you walk in and you hear the challenge cup music playing, then register to try and win a Promo card! It might take a couple or a lot of tries, but it always works!

Know your deck

Sent in by Newmen_13 If you get any card that lets you pick a card out of your deck like Pokeball or energy search use it and you get to see your deck take notes mentally or otherwise and turn the game off in a few seconds turn it back on and start from duel your card (Pokeball or whatever) will be in your hand and you will know your deck for the rest of the game unless its shuffled. Remember, don't pick the card from your deck or else your deck will be shuffled and the notes are useless.

Mew

Sent in by Victreebel To get Mew, beat Gene, the master of the Rock Club. He will give you a booster pack, and if you are lucky, it will have Mew in it!

Tip on coin flip

Sent in by Stephen K. Miyasato In multiplayer, 2 player mode, if you rapidly press A, there is a 75% chance that your opponent will get tails, and you will have a 75% chance of getting a heads when you flip your coin. (It doesn't work in single player mode)

Unlimated Booster Packs

Sent in by Rey Go to a computer in one of the gyms. Find the menu that has Japanese writing and then numbers next to each one. If you click on any of those items. You get a booster pack every time!

Infinite Energy Cards

Sent in by Rey If you are low on energy cards and need more, go back to Dr. Ooyama's lab. There fight Mikasa (The man you fought in the beginning) and fight him again, again, etc. getting 2 boosters full of energy cards each time! Now you don't have to worry about if you don't have enough energy or not!
