Final boss tip
Sent in by t.poelstra@starband.net
To kill the final boss at his final stage of transformation is one single hit,
you must throw the boomerang at his large eye and hit it when it is open.
The boomerang can be found on the beach near Tail Cave, on the beach, in a
secret hole which you must open up using a bomb. When you enter the cave
you should see a blue creature in the corner of the room, if not, you'll need
to obtain the Magnifying Glass first. Talk to the creature, and he will
purpose an honest trade for an item on you're B button. The only item you
can trade to him, is the Shovel. If done correctly you should have just now
obtained the Boomerang. Now go, kill the final boss easily.
Horse Heads
Sent in by MumboJumboMan
In some dungeons, you'll come across a room with two horse heads
laying on the floor. To activate them, use the Power Bracelet to pick
them up and throw them. Keep tossing them around until they are both
standing upright. The doors around you will now be unlocked again,
and you can continue through the dungeon.

How do you get the Nightmare key in the fourth world?
Sent in by Christine
For the 4th palace-in Yarna Desert, you have to beat a creature similar to
the boss of The Legend of Zelda: A Link to The Past. If you have not beaten
it, it is a sand snake that comes up and in the process hurls things at you.
He's fairly easy to beat-just beware of the current in the sand- and when
he drops the key, follow it into the hole to retrieve it.
Where is the Slime Key?
Sent in by Kristian
The slime key is in the Ukku Parie. To get the Slime key you must first get
rid of Bow wow. Then go to Richard's house. He will tell you to get 5 leaves
for him, from the chanlet castle. Now go back to the village. Go to trendy
game and win a Yoshi doll. Take the Yoshi doll to Quadruplets wife and she
will give you a ribbon in return. Take this ribbon to the little dog in the
shed next to Bow wows house. The little dog will give you some dog food
in return. Take this dog food to the crocodile down on Toberono beach. He
will give you some bananas. Go now to the entrance of the canlet castle.
The photo mouse will come and take a picture of you and Richard. Now go
right until you get to Kiki the monkey. Give Kiki the bananas and he and
his monkey friends will make a bridge. Cross the bridge and pick up the
stick. Go north until you get to a telephone booth then go left. Slash away
the bush with your sword and enter the cave. Go through the cave until you
get to the canlet castle garden. Go left and down and kill the swords
monster. Then throw a stone at the bird and kill it, as it attacks you. Pick
up the first golden leaf. Now go to the opposite side of the castle and come
to some holes. Kill the monster with your sword when he pops his head up.
Pick up the second leaf. Then enter the castle from the south. Goleft
once inside the castle and kill all the baddies. Pick up the third leaf. Go
north then east and press the button to open the gate. Go north east and up
the stairs. Use a bomb on the left wall picture to free a monster. Kill
the monster and get the forth leaf. Now go right, down, left and walk out
the doorway. Enter the other doorway. Once inside throw a churn at the
door. Enter the door and kill the monster. Get the last leaf and go to
the village shop. Buy a shovel and go to Richard. He will move to the left
so that you can reveal a secret passage under a box. Enter the cave and
go north and up the stair case. Use your sword to battle your way through
the bush maze. When you get to an owl slash the bush and use the shovel
to get the Slime key.
Tip on the new dungeon boss
Sent in by Lou
A little hint on the color dungeon: At the final boss (the crystal switch
guy), just equip Roc's Feather and the sword. All you have to do is keep
jumping and slashing at the same time. I only lost one heart through
the entire fight.
Photographer locations

As you may know, you can have a photographer take pictures of you in
the game, that can be printed with the Game Boy Printer. Here are all
of those locations:
1. Link poses and gives a peace sign. Get this one by talking to the
photographer and then standing at the top of the room in front of the
curtain.
Alternate: There is an alternate photo number 1. To get it, you must
answer every question that the photographer says with the answer "no".
It is a picture of Link looking stunned with freaky eyes.
2. When you have Marin, take her to the cliff at Toronbo Shores
3. Marin falls on a very hurt Link. Very funny picture. Get this one by
jumping down the well in Mabe Village while Marin is following you.
4. Take Marin to the Rooster statue in Mabe Village for this one.
5. Peek in the window to the right of the outside of Ulrira's house.
6. Link poses with BowWow. Get this one by leaving Madam MeowMeow's
house right after returning BowWow to her.
7. A picture of Link stealing from the shop. Get this one by stealing from
the shop.
8. Fisherman flapping in the water. Go to the fisherman under the bridge
(the one you give the hook too) after having the magnifying lens.
9. Link and Zora together. Go into the empty house in the top right screen
of the animal village after finding the magnifying lens.
10. Link and Richard in front of castle. Before lowering the drawbridge,
go to the castle where the golden leaves are.
11. Link poses in front of the lone grave with the ghost. Get this one
by standing in front of the lone grave after returning the ghost there.
12. Picture taken as poor cameraman plummets to the ground! Funny! Go
to the chicken house in the mountains and go right from there two screens.
Walk to the middle of the bridge.
There is one place the Camera shop owner will take your picture without
you even knowing it! Go to the shop in Mabe village. Steal something from
the man, and there will be a picture of you stealing in the book in the
Camera Shop. In case you don't know how to steal, first you need to pickup
an item. Now stand just up from the man and have him look up in your
direction. While he's looking up, quickly run out of the room with your
prize! Though there is a setback. If you ever return to shop, the man will
kill you. After he kills you, you can again shop (or steal) from his store again.
New dungeon map
Sent in by Farie
The new dungeon is located in the Graveyard. You must enter the graveyard
and go to the only section that has 5 Headstones (Bottom right section of
the graveyard). To open the path to the dungeon you need to push all of
these headstones a certain direction. Here it is:
The number on the gravestone indicates the order in which you have
to push them. Start at #1 and go to #5.

After pushing headstone 5 up, you'll find stairs underneath it leading to
the "Color Dungeon."
Don't try to do this room too early in the game. The normal time to do
this dungeon is after you've found the Pegasus Boots (it lets you knock
the book stuck up on the high shelf down). Try to do it then.

Room # Description
1) When you enter, you will see a red ghost and a blue ghost, simply talk
to one of the ghosts and tell them what color they are. They will move
out of your way.
2) In the pots in the top left corner is fairy dust. Walk towards the eyes
on the floor and they will become slime monsters. They can only be killed
when they have popped up from the floor. Kill them all to continue.
3) In this room you must make all the heads on the floor blue. To do this
hit the top left head first, then the bottom right head. Also, poke around
the southern wall of the room and you'll find a weak spot. Bomb this spot
and you'll find and opening to room 4. You'll also find the Compass in
this room once it is clean.
4) This room is filled with 5 point rupees.
5) The squares on the floor only let you step on them so many times.
The sequence is: Blue - Yellow - Red - Hole. Watch your self. When
you step on a square, you will bounce into the air. To kill the flying
creature I found holding my sword out and bouncing at him works very well.
6) You'll find two holes in the ground, a red one and a green one. You also
find two creatures that when hit will become either a red or green ball.
Hit the "Cue Ball" creature and then push it into the matching color hole.
Do this and receive the BEAK.
7) This room has squares and flying beasts similar to Room 5. See Room 5.
8) This room is similar to room 3. You must turn all the heads blue. To
do this hit bottom right once, then top left until all heads are blue.
9) In this room you must kill all the slime creatures before continuing.
10) This is the first "boss" you'll meet. It is a slime boss. You sword
is useless so arm yourself with Fairy Dust. You must sprinkle the blob
with 6 hits of Fairy Dust to kill it. Kill it and collect a Fairy.
11) In this room you'll find the Nightmare Key. You'll be blocked by
three blocks. To solve this puzzle, push the top block to the left, then
push bottom block to the left. Lastly, push the middle block Up into
the place where the top block used to be. Head to room 12.
12) Kill all the slime to continue.
13) More squares and flying creatures like room 5. Kill them all and
receive a Small Key. Go through the one way door at the top of the room
that will lead you to Room 5. Go through the locked door in Room 5.
14) The second "boss" is a Rock Monster. He will jump up in the air and
upon landing will knock Link onto his butt. Try to dodge the rocks he
tosses at you. To kill him you must strike him with your sword about
eight times (maybe nine times). Your reward will be another Fairy.
15) Kill all the flying creatures again, and lift the pot up in the top
left corner to reveal a button. Step on it to open all doors.
16) This room is filled with jelly balls. Kill them all and your prize
will be the dungeon Map.
17) This room is like room 6 only this time there are four Cue Ball
creatures. As with room 6, hit the creatures to turn them into a ball,
and then push them into a matching color hole. Your reward? A Small
Key. Head to room 18.
18) In this room you must again turn all the heads on the floor to blue.
There are nine this time. Unfortunately I don't have the exact sequence
for this, but can tell you that hitting a corner head will rotate it and
the two beside it. A Middle Edge head will rotate the whole side plus
the center. Hitting the center head rotates it and all heads beside it.
Good luck. Keep on hitting until you get it!
19) In a pot in the top right corner you'll find another Fairy. Grab it,
you'll need it!
20) Walk along the bottom of the room and hit the switch. Walk up to
the top and prepare for the final boss!
21) Meet the Dungeon boss! It looks like a JellyFish. The JellyFish has
three colors, blue, yellow and red. As you hit the JellyFish its head
will change color. Be warned! The JellyFish spits out little starfish
at you. Also note that the JellyFish is always self-healing, that means
that you must strike furiously! If you use your shield the starfish will
push you away from the JellyFish letting its self heal and forcing you
to start all over again. If you can make the head change to yellow, then
you can relax a bit (according to the game - I didn't relax). Once you
have killed it, you can collect your prize!
Note: I trapped the JellyFish in a corner and then beat upon it mercilessly
without using my shield. Yes, I took a lot of damage, but don't worry!
When you kill it you will receive another Fairy.
22) Enter and find a fairy fountain! Talk the to fairy and she will give you
the choice of either a Red (Offensive) tunic, or a Blue (Defensive) tunic.
You only get to choose one, so choose wisely. Since dying does not hurt
you in the game (it only forces you to start from the last doorway you
went through) I choose the Red tunic. Lets me kill those baddies faster!
