Harvest Moon

After the ending, if you do good enough, you keep going in the game. The
power berries come back (except for the ones that can't be recollected)
your parents visit again every summer and see if you've improved any.
Also, your wife should help on the farm unless she's deep in pregnancy.
Every morning, she asks, "honey, how should I help you today?" and you
choose what to tell her. She can cut the grass, take care of the cows,
water (some) of the crops, take care of the chickens, etc.
If the game continues on, your children can do similar things. After
reaching a certain age, they can cut the grass. later, they learn how to
do different things. Eventually, if you have a lot of kids, you sometimes
may not have to do anything on the ranch! Especially in the winter. You
can send your kids berry-picking in the mountains if everything on the
ranch is done (or if you can handle everything). If your wife or children
find a sick cow, they'll rush over and tell you after you step out of the
house. If you have a antidote in the shed, you can ask them to do that
for you. If a cow is pregnant, your children will laugh at it's huge body
after finishing all their work. It cheers them up.

There should be more animals and stuff. For instance, I would have a
sheep that you could get wool from, pigs to sell and butcher, etc. I
would also add more vegetables and tools. Some tools would be Shovel
to dig holes, pick axe to mine gold and stuff. Some veggies would be
carrots and apple trees!

The game should kept on going after your parents come.
